Adrian Evans, Director of Ev-entz and David Powell of Upbeat met in 1977 as they started their fledgling percussion studies in the same Music Centre. Progressing through to the Gwent Youth Brass Band, they eventually formed 50% of the percussion section of the first National Youth Brass Band of Wales!
