Upbeat is committed to impact, engagement and inspiration - powered by FUN! Demand has always been high for our unique brand of learning in schools across South East Wales (and beyond) but we continue to expand our creative and innovative offerings. Please explore our site and watch the videos for a measure of the joy we bring.  The new Curriculum for Wales is driving an upsurge in demand for Expressive Arts expertise and we are best positioned to assist your school in identifying and developing training needs through our network of expressive arts specialists.  If you are a school in Wales and would like Upbeat to deliver workshops in your school, there is an exciting funding opportunity currently available from the Arts Council of Wales called ‘HAVE a GO’ - click HERE for information.

UPLIFT

We have launched video resources for the primary sector (3 to 11 years) that additionally support wellbeing. The content is delivered by our specialist team and has accompanying, simple to follow, teacher packs. We are hugely excited by this aptly entitled 'Uplift' venture which is viewable and purchasable on the 'Resources' page of this website. These music resources are currently being used by over 80 schools including a British International School and we launched our Drama series in February followed by Dance in April.

CYNEFIN

We have been producing resources to assist teachers in Wales as they prepare for the forthcoming Curriculum for Wales. We have produced purchasable resource packs to deliver Eisteddfod and Cynefin through the primary school (please visit the appropriate page on our site).  Additionally, take a look at our Cwricwlwm Cymreig page for free videos to support learning about the musical culture of Wales. This page will be updated as we produce, collate and unearth resources.  A very special thank you goes to those musicians and dancers who have contributed and shared their expertise thus far.

NURTURE

Another of our collaborations has been the production of a comprehensive Foundation Phase 'Nurture' resource with NurturePro.  The resource guides teachers and schools through establishing a day to day routine for nurture and the philosophy and pedagogy behind it. It comes with 8 original songs especially written to embed the routine and behaviours of a nurturing environment.

TRAINING

For strategic curriculum guidance on the Expressive Arts Area of Learning (AoLE) in the new Curriculum for Wales please take a look at the training resources produced with our partners at Collective Learning.

We are also able to provide on site CPD and wellbeing sessions for teachers and support staff.

TEAMBUILDING and CONFERENCE LIVENERS

We are increasingly facilitating team building activities for organisations, schools, companies and council departments. Adiitionally, we are injecting our brand of fun into conferences and organisational strategy days to bring harmony and togetherness.

Finally, if you have any requests or creative requirements that you think we could assist with, then please contact us via our contact form or telephone 0844 800 0038 (leave a message and we will return your call if our times don't align).

Best wishes
